Sheikh Mohamed and El-Sisi reviewed the full scope of UAE-Egypt relations during the meeting. They discussed ways to expand cooperation across sectors and support mutual interests. Both presidents emphasized the strength of ties between the countries and their peoples. The talks also addressed economic and social wellbeing, according to official accounts. Officials did not disclose specific projects, investment commitments, or new bilateral measures following the meeting. The discussions took place in El Alamein during the presidential visit.

Regional affairs formed another major part of the discussions. The presidents exchanged views on recent developments in the Middle East and ongoing efforts to address them. They stressed the need to prevent further escalation across the region. Both leaders called for continued consultation, coordination, and joint action. They said closer cooperation was necessary to protect regional security and stability while the region faces shared political and security challenges.

The Egyptian presidency said El-Sisi welcomed Sheikh Mohamed as an honored guest in his second country. El-Sisi highlighted the UAE president’s special standing with Egypt and its people. He also pointed to the strength, depth, and broad scope of the historical relationship. Sheikh Mohamed thanked El-Sisi for the warm reception. He reaffirmed the close ties connecting the two countries’ leaders and populations across generations. The official welcome took place before the leaders began their talks.

Neither side announced a new diplomatic initiative, timetable, or joint mechanism at the conclusion of the talks. Both governments framed these issues as matters of mutual concern.

    Delegation reflects high-level engagement

Sheikh Mohamed traveled with a senior Emirati delegation. It included Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, chairman of the Zayed for Good Foundation. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan also joined the visit. He serves as deputy chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs.
