Sheikh Mohamed reiterated that the UAE remains dedicated to fostering a competitive investment climate, supported by robust legislative frameworks, modern regulatory systems, and access to global logistics networks. During his meeting with German business representatives, bilateral non-oil trade hit €13.4 billion, illustrating the growing economic integration connecting European manufacturing hubs with Middle Eastern trade routes.

    These discussions coincided with the Munich-based bilateral business forum, where government ministers and corporate executives signed 30 memoranda of understanding and commercial agreements totaling €9.66 billion. Official statements issued via the Emirates News Agency confirmed that these agreements target high-growth sectors such as advanced manufacturing, renewable energy, robotics, healthcare technology, and port infrastructure. UAE Minister for Foreign Trade Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi noted that the total UAE investments in Germany have increased to €34.5 billion, indicating strong institutional capital flows between the two economies.

    The official state visit also featured bilateral economic talks led by Federal Minister of Economic Affairs Katherina Reiche and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz. The two governments announced the initiation of a new Strategic Dialogue format, which aims to revitalize the bilateral Comprehensive Strategic Partnership first established in 2004. This framework will guide joint efforts in international security, clean energy, transportation systems, and defense technology sectors.
